Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Aedume (the “Platform”), a live learning platform operated by Two Zero(“Aedume,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Aedume, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Aedume Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

Aedume supports three account roles:

  • Student: Individuals seeking tutoring sessions on specific subjects or chapters.
  • Tutor: Verified educators offering their expertise through live sessions.
  • Institution: Schools, universities, or coaching centers managing faculty and batch bookings.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. Users below 18 years of age may use the Platform only under the supervision and with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Wallet & Payments

3.1 Wallet System

All session payments on Aedume are processed through the platform wallet, in Indian Rupees (INR). Students must maintain sufficient wallet balance to book sessions. Wallet recharges are processed through our payment partner, Razorpay.

3.2 Escrow Protection

When a session is booked, the payment amount is held in escrow. Funds are released to the tutor only after the session is successfully completed. This protects both students and tutors.

3.3 Platform Fee

Aedume charges a 10% platform feeon each session transaction. This fee is deducted from the tutor's payout and covers platform operations, payment processing, and support.

3.4 Wallet Recharges

Wallet recharges are non-refundable to the original payment method but can be used for any future session booking on the Platform. Eligible session refunds are credited back to your Aedume wallet. See our Refund Policy for details.

4. Session Booking & Cancellation

Sessions may be booked by selecting an available time slot on a tutor's profile. Our cancellation policy is designed to be simple and fair:

  • If a session is cancelled before it begins — by the student or the tutor — the escrowed amount is fully refunded to the student's wallet.
  • If a tutor does not deliver a confirmed session, the student receives a full refund to their wallet.
  • Once a session is successfully completed, the payment is released from escrow to the tutor and is non-refundable, subject to dispute resolution.

5. Tutor Obligations

  • Tutors must complete the verification process and provide accurate credentials.
  • Tutors must maintain professional standards of conduct during sessions.
  • Tutors must honor their posted availability and scheduled sessions.
  • Repeated cancellations or low ratings may result in account suspension or removal.
  • Tutors must not solicit students to transact outside the Aedume Platform.

6. Institution Terms

Institutions may register to manage faculty, post batch tutoring requirements, and book sessions on behalf of their students. Institution accounts are subject to additional verification. Institutions are responsible for ensuring their users comply with these Terms.

7. Referral Program

Aedume operates a multi-level referral program that distributes a total of 5% of a referred user's session valueacross up to five levels of referrers (2.5% to the direct referrer, then 1%, 0.75%, 0.5%, and 0.25% to upline referrers). Referral rewards are credited to the referrer's wallet. Abuse of the referral program (e.g., self-referrals, fake accounts) will result in forfeiture of rewards and potential account termination. Aedume may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and software associated with Aedume are the property of Two Zero and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent. Session content created by tutors remains their intellectual property unless otherwise agreed.

9. Limitation of Liability

Aedume provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Two Zero shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Aedume in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, any remaining wallet balance (excluding non-refundable recharges) may be returned to you minus any outstanding platform fees or obligations.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform.

12. Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, complaints may be addressed to our Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of Aedume after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
