Refund Policy

At Aedume (operated by Two Zero), we want every session to be a great experience. Our refund policy is designed to be simple and fair for both students and tutors. All eligible refunds are credited to your Aedume wallet.
1. Session Cancellation Refunds
Every session payment is held in escrow until the session is completed, so a cancellation never strands your money:

Refunds for cancellations are credited to your Aedume wallet automatically and instantly.
2. Wallet Recharges
Wallet recharges are non-refundable to your original payment method. Once funds are added to your Aedume wallet, they can be used for any future session booking on the Platform. Eligible session refunds are returned to your wallet, not to your bank or card.
3. Escrow Protection
Every session payment on Aedume is protected by our escrow system. When you book a session, the payment is held securely in escrow and is only released to the tutor after the session is successfully completed. This ensures:
- Students are protected — you only pay for sessions that actually happen.
- Tutors are guaranteed payment — once a session is completed, funds are released promptly.
- Disputes are handled fairly — if there is a disagreement, the escrow holds funds until resolution.
4. How to Request a Refund
Refunds for eligible cancellations are processed automatically to your Aedume wallet. If you believe you are entitled to a refund that was not automatically processed:
- Go to Dashboard > Session History and locate the session in question.
- Raise a dispute on that session and provide a brief explanation.
- Alternatively, email us at support@aedume.com with your session ID and details.
5. Processing Time
Automatic refunds are credited to your Aedume wallet instantly upon eligible cancellation. Disputed or manual refund requests are reviewed and resolved within 3–5 business days. Where a refund to your original payment method is approved at our discretion, bank/card settlement may take an additional 5–7 business days via our payment partner, Razorpay.
6. Exceptions & Disputes
In exceptional circumstances (e.g., technical failures or platform outages), Aedume may issue refunds at its discretion. If you have a dispute regarding a session or payment, please contact our support team and we will work to resolve it promptly.
